In the story Front Desk one of the themes is to be kind to everyone. In the story Mia helped Jason when he was getting bullied by some older boys. They were hurting him really bad. One of the boys even called him a Chinese dough boy. That’s really mean. This is important because it shows that Mia is really nice character and not a mean one.

Also, Mia’s mom made some tea and Mia brought some tea to one of the very nice weeklies, Hank.

Finally, I think that it was really nice of Mia to write a letter to Lupe to apologize for yelling at her and being mean. I think that this shows Mia knows the importance of apologizing and forgiving people.
